God Hates Limitations

God hates limitations

God is unlimited and he wants you to understand and change you mindset, by helping you break off the limitations you put on him... and a lot of the time, we put limitations on God, unknowingly. There are times we are facing challenges in life and we forget the magnitude of his power. Psalm 78:41-43 says: “Yes, they tested God over and over, and provoked [“limited” KJV] the Holy One of Israel. They did not remember His power, nor the day when He delivered them from the enemy, how He had performed His signs in Egypt and His wonders in the fields of Zion”. As we study this passage, we can see something interesting. Not only did the people of Israel limit God, but God was not pleased that they limited Him. Limiting God will prevent you from having all that God wants for you and it displeases Him. It grieves Him and causes Him to be upset. When you limit God, you’re basically saying, “God, I don’t trust You to go beyond a certain boundary or certain limit. I don’t believe you can really take me further than where I am or where I’ve been”. This kind of thinking is insulting to God because He is all powerful. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you can ask or think (Eph. 3:20). Israel had God’s track record right before them and still did not believe Him. Their unbelief and disobedience caused them to not be able to go into the Promised Land and drive our the giants. An entire generation, except for Caleb and Joshua, died in the wilderness and did not enter the Promised Land because they could not believe God could give them the ability to overcome those giants (Numbers 13-14). Psalm 78 reveals the four reasons some of us will not get to live out of the blessings and overflow of God... 1. We have forgotten what God has done 2. We don’t believe 3. We need deliverance from our past 4. We don’t know God intimately
